Software End-Of-Life Policy

FriendMedia is committed in designing and developing reliable software products for our digital signage customers worldwide.

Original FriendMedia software products are designed and developed by our engineers in California. Ongoing investments in R&D make them frequently evolve and allows FriendMedia to constantly take feedbacks of its partners and customers into account.

In the case that new technologies become available which allow to better take into account new feature requests, FriendMedia takes the decision to develop new software products that can better answer the evolving needs of the market. This new product will gradually replace the previous one that will gradually reach its End-of-Life.

The life-time of a FriendMedia software product begins with its market introduction and ends when FriendMedia takes the decision to stop selling it and discontinue its support: this date is called End-Of-Life (EOL).

To help anticipate an EOL event and plan migration paths, FriendMedia informs its partners as early as possible when the product is Not Recommended for New Deployments (NRND) and which migration path strategy is the most suitable.
